Learning how to massage your baby is one of the simplest, most enjoyable things you can do with your child! With this service, I teach parents and/or caregivers how to perform the massage on their baby or babies.

The massage is meant to be initially performed on babies under 1 year old (or under 7 years old for children with special needs), though it is something you can and should do with your child for many years to come!

Teachings can be done either one-on-one in a client’s home, virtually or in a classroom setting with other parents and babies. Read more about the differences between these options and how to register/purchase below!

The strokes taught have been created by Vimala McClure, author of Infant Massage, A Handbook for Loving Parents. Vimala is the founder of the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM), with headquarters in Sweden. Infant Massage USA is the US chapter under which I am certified as a Certified Infant Massage Educator (CEIM).

Besides being a certified infant massage instructor, I’m also a certified lactation consultant, sleep coach, parenting coach, CPR instructor, postpartum doula, and health/life coach! I’ve also well-versed in rhythmic movements and oral stretches and exercises for tongue/lip-tied babies. I generally use a mix of all of these things to help babies in as many ways as possible. Feel free to reach out with questions on any of these things!

Testimonials from parents who took Parent & Me Infant Massage classes:

Nicole from PA:

“An amazing way to bond with your baby when they aren’t ready to engage with you yet! I loved being able to connect with him and be able to relax him before bed. I like that my husband and I have something we can do together or apart that is consistent with our bedtime routine. This class is a must for any new first-time Mom, lots of info, open discussion, and a great way to bond with your baby!”

Hayley from PA:

“I highly recommend this class to all parents with little ones! Ronee is extremely knowledgeable on all of the subject matter, and is great at applying both this knowledge and her experiences into the class in a hands on way. Learning the massage techniques has created a great way to bond with my 3 month old! She absolutely loves it and her sleep habits have already changed for the better! She provides extra information, such as reading behavioral cues, which has been extremely helpful! She is also great at providing a relaxed atmosphere, where moms are comfortable to nurse, while at the same time staying professional and on track with continuing the class! We were sad it had to end!”
